The D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router is the fastest we've seen, but we're still reluctant to recommend it as it's based on an unfinished wireless spec.

Despite a few ATSC limitations, the Panasonic DMR-EZ47VK delivers almost all the features and performance we look for in a DVD/VHS recorder.

Logitech wowed us in person at CES with what had to be the prettiest keyboard ever made. Now we've got one on-hand to get down and dirty with. The question is, is it all sex and no love? And can it really be worth the sky-high pricetag?
Microsoft Windows Home Server Beta 2

The beta process for Windows Home Server was open to allow the public to get involved. Luckily, I happened to be one of those selected. Even more interesting is the lack of any non-disclosure agreements, so not only do I get to use it for a few months, but I get to write this article and tell you all about it. So what benefits does Windows Home Server offer over a NAS-style device? How well does the software work now, and what is it expected to do when it is released? And what you're all wondering! would it be worth your money?

The Iomega StorCenter Pro 150d is a network-attached storage drive squarely targeted at the small- and home office user. With Gigabit Ethernet, USB port, and generous capacity for a fair price, this NAS drive should satisfy those users.
Apple iPod Video 5G

We chose to review the 30GB (as opposed to the 80GB version) as it is the direct competitor to the Microsoft Zune (not that the capacity will really make a difference in our review, aside from value). And seeing as how we just finished reviewing the Microsoft's 30GB Zune, what better time to take a closer look at the top dog? But what can my review of this most popular of gadgets offer? As an iPod detractor, I've never previously owned or reviewed an iPod. I've always thought of the player as a well-designed, but more importantly, well-marketed product. Many other companies offer comparable and even better portable audio products but can't compete with the iTunes media distribution juggernaut. Basically what I'm admitting here is that I harbor a healthy respect for the iPod but you can expect no Apple fanboy, one-eyed reviews from me. Now, on with the show.

The Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station is a solid router that keeps up with the Draft N competition. Unfortunately, we've yet to test a Draft N router that lives up to the promise of 802.11n. As with the rest of the .11n routers we've tested, we advise you postpone your purchase until the spec is finalized.

Today I'll be taking a look at a set of ultra-portable iPod nano speakers from Altec Lansing, the inMotion iM500. And I really mean ultra-portable; this thing fits in my pocket (looks quite strange there, but it does fit). Some say size doesn't matter, but in the back of my mind I'm already concerned that Altec Lansing may have gone with form over function with this little "˜fella.
