First of all, it is a story about a group of kids trying to seek revenge because of the "Snow Plow Man" who has ruined every first snow day with no snow day to follow. (He ruined it by plowing the roads and making it so the kids could go to school after each snow day.) The older brother of one of the kids is trying to find a way to tell a popular girl that he likes her. The plot is that simple. The plot is not "meshed" it is just like any other movie, there is more than one thing going on, but it would only confuse you if you are an easily confused person (after all it was intended for a younger audience, and they get it!). There is no harsh or "adult" language used in the film, to my knowledge, and I have seen it twice. I liked the movie, and thought that it was fun, go ahead and buy it, if you have kids, or if you are just looking for a cute film with a clear message " anything can happen, when you really try" |

| | A SCI-FI ADVENTURE!, January 20, 2001 I really love this movie, it's one of my favorites. It is a sci fi movie about a man who has to be put in a scientific experiment gone bad. This movie is very interesting the whole way through and I would reccomend it for anyone looking for a great time. |

The story was about a man who dicovers he has supernatural powers but in a more realistic sense. The film did not give quite enough definition to truly understand the real happenings in the story. Since this movie was so close in being released after "The Sixth Sense" (by the same director) I believe that it was just meant to make money and gain popularity, as "The Sixth Sense" did. I also think that there wasn't much care put into the film so it could be realesed as soon as possible to give the public a film by the same director while "The Sixth Sense" was still fresh in their minds. I give this movie four stars because its story WAS interesting and could be looked upon as more than just these things. I would probably like to see this movie again to gain a better understanding of the true message. |

Wheather you have read the book or liked the book, this movie is a fascinating Chrismas classic. I , for one loved the film and believed it to be great. You don't have to be younger to appreciate all the creative lines and speacial effects. I am not going to make a list of why this movie was wonderful, or not wonderful. I just hope that you will take my word that if you love Christmas movies and imaginative stories, than this movie is definately for you! |

He has managed to take a subject that is controversal and complex and turn it into an amazingly compelling novel. I disagree with those reviewers that have stated that Patterson sides only with those characters that support abortion. Patterson does a great job of presenting both sides of the debate while walking a tight rope between facts and preaching. He never crosses over that line and he manages to engage the reader with yet another well constructed legal/political thriller. The characters are well drawn and the many sub-plots as always ultimately come together to a very satisfying conclusion. This book is the very definition of a must read. Don't miss it. |

It's finally thinking about the future and not just the present. It also compares the past and admits mistakes. That's part of the Spirit of Country. Anybody who doesn't think it's powerful hasn't been around recently. |
